Job Description

The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer provides overall direction, technical leadership, and expertise supporting the companies cloud and on-premises applications, infrastructure platforms, storage environments, disaster recovery strategies and third-party integrations with specific focus on support and modernization of the infrastructure, end points, DR/BCP technologies and integration points. The position requires accomplished expertise in the engineering, automation, and deployment of highly complex systems and services, including multi-cloud DR/BCP solutions, SaaS applications, modern end point management solutions, virtualization technologies, and developing standards and practices of the underlying technologies. . Hands-on maintenance and support of production services and remediation and methodical troubleshooting of issues escalated by first and second-layer operational support teams. Grasps ITIL fundamental processes related to the service lifecycle and demonstrates a maturity in applying technology and soft people skills. Responsible for collaborating with peers on the overall strategy of integrating cloud architecture with server and storage technologies, developing service roadmaps, and implementing and mentoring best practices.

Skills and Requirements

- 7 + years of experience building and supporting an Microsoft Windows server environment, EMC Storage, Active Director and physical hardware services

- Expert level experience VMware, Dell EMC storage arrays, active directory and Citrix

- Experience leading Azure cloud architecture and development, Azure AVD; and Azure Stack HCI with a focus on improving performance and continuity of the production systems and services

- Experience working with security best practices and disaster recovery technologies

- Documentation and tech writing experience with excellent written and verbal communication

- Experience working in a global infrastructure environment null
