JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in New York, New York

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Participate in planning sessions with product owners and team members to analyze business requirements and lead proposed IT solution for application development, acting as subject matter expert. Propose system design solution, incorporating proper security and defined IT control policies throughout the whole software development process. Follow architectural standards in application design, providing detailed specifications and documentation on software produced. Conduct code reviews to ensure solution is aligned with pre-defined specifications. Work also on software testing, making sure results experienced are in line with business requirements as well as help on production troubleshooting and triage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Technology Lead, Technology Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Unix; Windows; Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; J2EE; Spring; Java; SQL; REST; SOAP; Maven; JSON; GIT; Junit; Automated Testing; Unit Testing.

Job Location: 5 Manhattan West, New York City, NY 10001. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $168,900 - $215,000 per year.
