Job Description

Overview:

The SVP, Strategy will provide consistently superior media strategies, ideas and marketplace solutions tailored to fast-paced client.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary day-to-day liaison between Zenith and client.

  • Direct the development, presentation and maintenance of brand media plans. Including objectives, strategic initiatives, updates and point-of-views (POVs) on proposals.

  • Provide direction to buyers and planners in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all buys and executions of media plans adhere to agreed upon planning strategies and are properly communicated to client.

  • Partner with internal teams and other Zenith accounts to develop insights into brand extensions through evaluations and recommendations of cross-platform and merchandising concepts.

  • Ensure that client receives full value from Zenith’s resources within the parameters of service/compensation agreement.

  • Provide leadership and direction to team working on account.

  • Take leading role in client ideation and creativity, partnering with creative, digital and other agencies

  • Take leading role in new business activity as required, leading pitch planning teams

  • Ensure a robust training program for all members of the team is in place

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 – 12 years of media experience with extensive planning knowledge

  • Superior client service experience with proven ability to provide strategic media plans

  • Bachelors degree

  • Experience across all media types (national, local, direct, OOH)

  • Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Ability to translate numbers into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables

  • Excellent leadership ability to drive team to deliver results

Compensation Range: $200,000 - $225,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 9/23/2024.
