Develop high-performing Services layer using Python, FastAPI, AWS Lambda, SQS etc. Build Serverless applications using AWS cloud native technologies. Collaborate with Product teams to understand the customer requirements, provide accurate estimates, and adhere to the project deadlines. Develop Unit Tests Design, implement, test and maintain server-side components and web applications. Participate in all scrum team activities and work closely with peers to achieve continuous improvement. Participate in grooming/design forums to provide recommendations and incorporate security requirements into design. Provide input to information/data flow and understand and comply with architectural standards in all phases. Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications and will identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues. Identify and embrace new technologies to enhance the customer experience, and improve the platform's stability, scalability and availability. Collaborate with global teams Development, QA, DevOps, Program Management teams to successfully deliver projects. Telecommuting permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.).Requirements: Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer and Information Sciences, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field plus three (3) years of experience as a Database Administrator, Associate, Analyst, or related position performing software design and development on multi-tiered applications. Must have experience with the following: applying knowledge of Object Oriented design and development; working with agile development process, including SCRUM, Unit Testing, and Continuous Build and Integration; working with programming languages (Java, JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS2/3, XML, and XSLT), development tools (Eclipse (CDT)), and application servers (Tomcat, WebSphere, and Apache); working with REST APIs and related JMS systems; and applying knowledge of application frameworks and engines, including JDBC, Spring framework, JPA (Java Persistence API), Hibernate, iBatis, JTA (Java Transaction API), JMS, and JQuery.
