How will you make an impact in this role?

Within the Technology Portfolio Management team, the Senior Product Designer for Portfolio Tools will support transformation and evolution of our portfolio toolset, focusing on optimizing the customer experience to meet business outcomes, and create efficiencies in support of the Tech portfolio planning for the enterprise.

In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in driving the design of internal tools essential for optimizing our technology investment management. Reporting to the Director of Product Management for Portfolio Tools, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class user experience that aligns with business goals, collaborating with customers, and ensuring the tools meet user needs and enhance our business operations. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of transforming enterprise-level management tools, fostering innovation, and accountability within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Prototyping: Create high fidelity designs, wireframes and interactive prototypes that demonstrate a deep understanding of the user journey. Work closely with engineering partners to ensure designs are implemented effectively.

  • Iterative Design Process:Utilize an iterative design approach that incorporates user feedback throughout the product development life cycle. Continuously refine and optimize the experience to enhance usability and meet business goals.

  • Journey Mapping: Support the creation of detailed journey maps to understand and visualize theend-to-end user experience across multiple touchpoints. Collaborate cross functionally to identify pain points,opportunities and areas for improvement with a long-term scalable mindset that supports our internal systems and processes.

  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with Portfolio, Technology, and Product leaders to align the tools with their needs and the company’s strategic goals. Capture and prioritize user requirements and enhancements through regular feedback loops.

  • Go-to-Market and Adoption: Support change management efforts to promote adoption and usage across the organization. Develop documentation to facilitate user transition.

  • Customer Experience: Ensure tools meet user needs and objectives and offer seamless customer experience.

  • ProductDesign Expertise: Demonstrated experience in designing software or technology products, preferably within an enterprise setting managing internal tools.

  • Analytical and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data, understand user needs, and translate them into effective product solutions.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.

  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity withdesign tools such as Figma, Adobe as well as prototyping tools. Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design and visual design

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in product design.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe as well as prototyping tools

  • Experience with UX principles, interaction design and virtual design.

  • 2 years as a subject matter expert, with technology-based products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with portfolio management tools and financial scenario modeling.

  • Masters Degree

  • Analytics and critical thinking: ability to analyze complex data, understand user needs, and translate them into effective product solutions.

  • Communication and collaborations: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.

  • Experience creating style sheets and design standard languages.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
