Senior Investment Analyst at The Rockefeller Foundation (NY, NY)Duties: Work closely with portfolio managers to drive the investment due diligence process for existing and prospective managers, including sourcing new investment opportunities, participating in meetings, conducting due diligence on manager materials, executing qualitative and quantitative analyses, writing investment recommendations, and monitoring the current portfolio. Provide back up or supplementary portfolio management coverage. Run analyses on performance, exposure, new commitments planning, cash flow profile, etc. Collaborate with portfolio managers and the broader team for the development of investment strategy papers/presentations for the CIO and Investment Committee. Perform macroeconomic, sector and/or other topical research to add value to the team’s decision-making and portfolio management. Drive process and quality improvements for data analysis and management. Represent The Rockefeller Foundation at fund managers’ annual meetings and industry conferences. Form views on investments, external investment managers, and asset allocation. Participate in sourcing of prospective investment managers with ability to conduct screening meetings independently.Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field plus four (4) years of professional experience in any role/occupation/title in investment banking, asset management, and/or related field. Experience must include: Applying knowledge of finance and investing; Evaluating investment opportunities and writing investment recommendations; Using Bloomberg, MS Office applications, and/or CRM system(s), including advanced functions in Excel, to assemble and prepare data analytics to inform investment recommendations; and Building financial models and calculating investment performance.
