Overview

Overall, Experience Designers at Digitas are a multidisciplinary group who work together to break down and solve problems by applying art and innovation to strategic insight to bring to life beautiful ideas that connect people emotionally. XDers play essential roles in the strategy, conception and design of ideas, products and services. They bring intuitable, engaging experiences to life to address business needs, keeping in mind impeccable craft output, developing and delivering from brief to end user.

Senior Experience Designers create useful, intuitive, user centered designs from project concept through execution. They support team members and provide tactical deliverables to meet project needs. Seniors help develop concepts and then produce quality site maps, wireframes, prototypes, user flows and annotations with high attention to detail. Their work is grounded in research insights and activities such as competitive analyses, heuristic reviews and usability testing.

Responsibilities

  • Being Open, Bold & Curious

  • A portfolio chock full of beautiful, usable things on all kinds of devices

  • A formal UX, Graphic Design or Design education

  • An insatiable need to learn and grow

  • Ability to communicate and articulate design rationales

  • Able to partner with other disciplines to ensure high quality work

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience

  • A deep expertise in a specific area of design

  • Experience understanding/annotating complex interactions

  • Help/create user flows, sitemaps, design systems, grids and other communication artifacts

  • Develop usable prototypes

  • Observe, document and interpret user research

  • Basic understanding of front end development technologies

  • Strong experience with prototyping

  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC

Compensation Range: $80,045 - $101,085. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
