How you'll make an impact:

As a key member of the Product & Technology team, you will help drive efficiencies in our overall contracting strategy with 3rd party partners and suppliers. We are looking for a Senior Contract Specialist who has strong attention to detail and experience in data entry and contracting as it relates to technology, such as hardware, software/SaaS, and hosted infrastructure and technology consulting services. You will work closely with key partners across SiriusXM and build effective cross-functional working relationships that actively drives contract management. You will have exposure and interaction with departments across the company as well as our external suppliers, so strong social and communication skills are a must. You will be a trusted partner and advisor to Sourcing colleagues and internal customers providing practical and timely contractual guidance, identification of contractual risks and informed consent, and excellence in drafting contract documents.

What you'll do:

  • Under general supervision, assist with the implementation of contracts administration procedures and coordinate or monitor the completion of administrative tasks.

  • Issues Requisitions and Purchase Orders (POs).

  • Own the contract lifecycle management within the CLM tool (Jaggaer) to gain approvals and secure signatures on agreements with tight timelines.

  • Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.

  • Responsible for tracking contract close-out, extension, and renewal, and communicating contractual deadlines and obligations.

  • Perform daily data entry, data collation, and data management tasks.

  • Additional day-to-day operational tasks.

  • Identify and relay critical follow-ups/clarifications to appropriate team members.

  • Build a positive working relationship with team members.

  • Enter information into specific fields into applicable databases.

  • Request further information for documents that are deemed incomplete.

  • Review data for deficiencies or errors.

  • Plan, track, and report on work activities, resulting in professional, transparent, and efficient execution of duties.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree, Professional License, or Certification preferred

  • Experience as a Paralegal a plus

  • 2-5 years of experience in the acquisition of technology (software, hardware, SaaS, and consulting services)

  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

  • Commodity expertise in technology (focus on SaaS) for a fast-growing company

  • Ability to work independently while supporting all levels and needs of the company

  • Flexible, resourceful, and solution-oriented

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment

  • Adaptability in dealing with complex requirements

  • Extraordinary customer service skills

  • Jaggaer experience is desirable

  • Must have legal right to work in the US

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $62,000 to $100,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
