NYC based organization is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to their team. They are in the office on a hybrid schedule (1-2 days), so are seeking locally based candidates only.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the monthly accounting close and financial reporting process, including preparation of consolidated financial reports

• Supports the annual budget process and monthly/annual cash forecasting.

• Contributes to planning and strategic discussions.

• Acts as the main point of contact to external auditors and provides all required information.

• Keeps senior leadership fully appraised of all pertinent financial matters – particularly any significant negative variances to budget in time for appropriate remedial action to be taken.

• Recommends and implements initiatives that will improve financial performance and financial controls in all locations.

Requirements

• Accounting/Finance Degree

• 4+ years Accounting/Audit experience

• Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
