Description

A well-established and highly successful trading organization is currently seeking to add a Senior Accountant to their talented team.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

• Executing internal control documentation and assessments of the organization

• Reviewing financial closing and reporting processes and collaborating with management to address deficiencies

• Conducting test of operating effectiveness for financial closing and reporting process

• Assisting with design and development of internal control program and risk mitigating plans

• Researching new accounting pronouncements and assisting with development of new policies and procedures

• Handling additional responsibilities as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

• 5+ years of experience

• Public accounting background, preferably Big 4 experience

• Must have experience with internal controls, and full-cycle Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

• CPA required
