We’re looking for a Sales Operations Lead to join Snap! As a member of the Sales Operations team, you will be responsible for making our sales team more efficient through Tooling and Systems. Working from our Santa Monica or New York office, you’ll collaborate with our various sales teams to develop first-class tools that facilitate optimal sales processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with sales and operations leaders to design optimal sales processes and translate them into requirements for an allocated engineering team focused on internal tools.

  • Identify business initiatives and gaps with existing tools and capture them in a ranked list of tooling priorities. Force tradeoffs among multiple stakeholders to ensure priorities are aligned and transparent.

  • Partner with CRM Engineering and other Product/Engineering teams to ensure tooling builds meet the expectations of business stakeholders.

  • Own user acceptance testing, beta testing, and final rollout/adoption effort for new tools or incremental improvements for existing tools.

  • Develop detailed training materials and maintain reference materials for how tools work and what is expected from the sales team when using them.

  • Be the accountable owner for the systems and tools that our sales team uses to support our advertising customers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience as an operations professional with a background in process development and internal tooling/systems.

  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM and customization, beyond standard “out-of-the-box” implementations.

  • Extensive experience working on SMB/scaled sales methodologies, including call centers, outsourced workforces, and customer acquisition/retention strategies. Focus on SAAS or Ad Sales is a major plus.

  • Experience developing roadmaps across multiple technical initiatives within tight deadlines, with diverse contributors and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong project management experience, with an ability to evaluate and re-prioritize rapidly and deliver results against aggressive deadlines.

  • Commitment to strengthening the sales operational processes with knowledge, creativity and empathy.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5-7 years working in Sales Operations, Technical Program Management, or similar functions

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent years of experience)

  • Experience working with large outsourced sales teams in an operational role

  • Fluency with operational ad sales data, including revenue/attainment, ROI calculations, churn assessment, and sales-rep efficiency analysis

  • Demonstrated proficiencies as a Program Manager in a rapidly changing environment

  • Experience launching and driving adoption for org-wide changes to operational processes

  • Ability to communicate effectively as a change agent, influencing leadership and team members to take new actions and shift the daily behaviors of a team

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $138,000-$207,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $131,000-$197,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $117,000-$176,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
