CTC Trading Group, LLC seeks a Quantitative Developer in New York, NY.Duties: Develop libraries, applications, and software frameworks that propel innovation in CTC’s trading operation. Act as an evangelist of standard frameworks, libraries and coding practices, promoting adoption among the quant trader/researcher community via training, documentation, and keeping ease of use top of mind. Partner with Quantitative Traders and Researchers on R&D and tactical development initiatives involving alpha signal research, systematic and non-systematic trading algorithms, data science, etc. Implement production models and model prototypes. Improve core model and research frameworks. Ensure CTC’s innovation platform remains state of the art. Partner and coordinate with core tech teams. Telecommuting is permitted.Requires a Master’s degree in in Physics, Math, Statistics, or other quantitative field and 9 months of experience. Alternatively, Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Math, Statistics, or other quantitative field plus 3 years of experience. Requires 9 months of experience with a Master’s degree (OR 3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in the following:• High degree of proficiency in C/C++ or Python• Keen awareness and understanding of general programming principles• Effectively communicate complex ideas both verbally and in writing• Track record of delivering software tools that enhance trading and risk management workflows• Working on or with a Trading deskTelecommuting permitted.40 hours/week, $200,000-$250,000 per year.
