Job Description

Quality Control Laboratory Assistant, CTCEF

The QC Assistant will contribute to developing new assay methods and perform the necessary testing to enable the release of cell therapy products manufactured at the Cell Therapy Cell Engineering Facility (CTCEF).

Role Overview:

· Perform various product release assay: Viability, flow cytometry, cytotoxicity, cell growth-based assays, DNA extraction, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, QPCR, ddPCR, endotoxin, mycoplasma, ELISA.

· Perform post infusion monitoring testing and prepare results for clinic.

· Provide immediate notification of abnormal test results and assay failures. Assist in troubleshooting and filling required paperwork.

· Design new assays and methods for new projects. Make summary and Quality report documents.

· Provide support during the patient infusion process.

· Prepare the necessary paperwork as per cGMP guidelines.

· Assist with writing and revising standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Contribute to writing deviation and non-compliance investigations.

· Assist with the validation process and assay improvements.

· Responsible for QC inventory maintenance and management.

Key Qualifications:

· 4-5 years of Hands-on laboratory experience is required, especially in FACS, QPCR, PCR, DNA extraction, and cell culture.

· Highly responsible, meticulous, and detail-oriented individual is required for patient-centric operations.

· Ability to develop and validate testing methods with minimal supervision.

· Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse group of individuals.

· Action-oriented and eager to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

· Experience in a clinical laboratory or a controlled therapeutic manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant office applications.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently and professionally at all levels.

· Flexibility to adapt to new projects as required to support the group.

· Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet the deadlines.

· Schedule: On-site

· Reporting to the CTCEF QC Supervisor

Hourly Range: $34.11-$52.88
