Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

• Project Management and Leadership for multiple land development projects

• Monitoring schedules & budgets to ensure effective completion of projects accordingly

• Client facing

• Preparing proposals for clients

• Oversee the development of Land Development Projects

• Oversee and assist with the preparation of design drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports from design through construction

• Coordinate permits for large-scale, complex projects

• Mentoring junior engineers and drafters

Hard Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• EIT License or ability to obtain PE license within 12 months of starting

• 8+ years of experience with land development design projects

• Civil 3D and AutoCAD

• Site Layout Development

• Site Design Experience - grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility design

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in New York, New York and some days remote.

Work Environment

• First couple of weeks you will be required to go into the office 5 days a week to get settled and then will be on a Hybrid schedule

• Office consists of 20-25 people

• This team consists of 5-6 site civil engineers

• Will be working on a variety of public and private site development projects

• Will be client-facing and get great client exposure
