Jacobs Program Change Process Coordinator in New York, New York
Maintain a comprehensive record of all engineering/software change orders, including their origin, scope, cost, and approvals. Evaluate incoming change order requests to determine their feasibility, impact on the project schedule, budget, and potential risks. Communicate and finalize with relevant stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and project owners, to negotiate the terms and conditions of the change orders. Collaborate with estimators and project managers to estimate the cost implications of proposed changes. Ensure that cost estimates are accurate and transparent, including labor, materials, equipment, and any associated indirect costs. Ensure that all change orders are incompliance with the project and government contractual agreements, and that proper documentation and approvals are obtained before proceeding with any changes.
Supervise the work of one employee (Contracts Coordinator).
Telecommuting is allowed.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 4 year of work experience in Engineering Program Coordinator or related occupation.
In Lieu of the requirements listed above, employer will accept: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 6 year of work experience in Engineering Program Coordinator or related occupation.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise/ knowledge of: Project Management; Strategic Planning; Leadership; Advanced MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint; eBuilder knowledge; Contract Law knowledge.
Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
