Position Summary

CVS Health’s Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) is an organization working to solve some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of technology and healthcare. A&BC leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, modeling, and a hypothesis-driven approach to quickly transform data into actionable, customer-centric insights to drive growth, improve health outcomes and access to health care across all of our businesses in CVS Health. We are responsible for understanding the data flow from a business perspective to create a solution architecture to model the business. Our data teams build next generation data and machine learning platforms and products in the cloud that help power CVS Health to make healthier happen for 100+ million customers.

The A&BC organization is looking to grow its Strategy & Product team. Join us as we embark on an exciting journey to drive a transformational shift in how CVS Health leverages technology and analytics to become the leader in healthcare in the U.S.

CVS Health has a distinctively comprehensive lens into elements of healthcare across the care journey. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to bring to market and refine innovative products built on one of the largest single-source data libraries in healthcare. You will be responsible for leading the development and launch of new data products, working with data engineering to bring client requirements to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop user stories and detailed product specifications to communicate feature requirements to data science, engineering and stakeholder teams

  • Support data engineering team to implement features by clarifying requirements, facilitating technical discussions, and helping technical team members to understand users and the business

  • Facilitate problem solving and prioritization across teams, factoring in trade-offs between speed, scalability and quality

  • Draft, refine and communicate business cases to key stakeholders to obtain input and buy-in

  • Work closely with enterprise clients to inform product decisions and validate hypotheses

  • Demonstrate and support dissemination of best practices for product management, product development, release management and user support

  • Develop and execute strategies for proactive user support and issue resolution

You will be working in a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) in our CVS Health office in NYC.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in product management, data strategy, or management consulting

  • 2+ years’ experience in healthcare / digital health, with exposure to data and analytics

  • Proficient with introductory data analysis (e.g. SQL)

  • Passionate about exploring the unknown and unafraid of ambiguity

  • Proven track record of strategy work and / or product definition, launch, and management

  • Strong communication with peers and senior leaders, both 1:1 and in small groups

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business stakeholders and customers as well as business concepts and requirement to Data Science, Engineering, and other technical teams

  • Passionate about making healthcare more efficient and want to be part of a transformational change to making it more consumer friendly

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$111,240.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
