Amazon External Fulfillment in AFT Organization provides fulfillment technology services to third-party companies, helping them to improve their fulfillment capabilities for the benefit of our Customers. As a Principal Program Manager, you will have a dual role. On one hand you will create and own the strategic projects allowing EF to scale its services across the different Amazon business lines and geographies. To achieve this, you will work with internal stakeholders to develop new processes and programs enabling EF growth. You will be the trusted advisor in setting the expansion projects goals and deliverables.

On the other hand, your role will be external-facing working with 3P partners for rolling out EF WMSes to our final customers and will be responsible for both launch and improvement projects of new warehouses together with operations teams. The Principal Program manager will be interfacing with the Finance, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain and Transportation teams and External as well as Internal Fulfillment Operations partners. You will contribute to the development of Amazon flexible & customer-centric fulfilment.

Key job responsibilities

-Identify, develop and deliver long term process / change management projects, lead key initiatives with cross-functional teams; drive the decision making process of the organization roadmap with senior leadership.

-Document and track progress against program launch milestones, highlight blockers, track risks & issues as well as path to green or mitigation plans; Report progress for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.

  • Creating strategy and execution plans to deliver convenience to customers in terms of precision deliveries, unattended deliveries and set priorities and communicating across business partners and stakeholders

  • Translating the customer experience and voice of customer into a logical sequence and mapping our roadmap and program initiatives to measurable business value

  • Working with operations, supply chain, product, legal and compliance, finance, tech, , configuration and execution teams to make prioritization/emulate good practices to conceptualize and implement program and tech interventions

  • Collaborate with teams across various regions and geographies to understand and learn best practices and replicate the same for EF Operations

  • Conducting quick pilot projects to gather learnings and implement the most feasible, cost effective and scalable solution for EF requirements

  • Identify cost saving opportunities/initiatives across businesses using EF products and work across stakeholder functions to execute customer facing initiatives at scale

AFT’s External Fulfillment team builds flexible, scalable solutions specifically designed for the needs of Amazon’s emerging markets and businesses.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 7+ years of program or project management experience

  • 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $111,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
