The Custom Productions Unit is looking for someone who can balance editorial and innovative integrations across the NBCUniversal News Group platforms. You will support the team on highly produced strategic projects through all stages, while also interfacing with brands and internal stakeholders including executives, legal, standards, and on-air talent. Responsibilities

  • Support and produce editorial content across all platforms of the NBCUniversal News Group.

  • Research stories, assist on shoots, conduct interviews, and prepare visual elements for edit.

  • Create documents and materials for sponsored events and productions.

  • Communicate and coordinate with editorial staffs of NBC News and MSNBC to fulfill sponsorship commitments.

  • Work with Legal & Standards teams to ensure editorial standards of projects.

Please Note: This is a project/limited term position expected to last 12 months unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. Salary range: $65,000-$70,000

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years’ experience creating content. 

  • 4-year college degree in journalism, marketing/business, or communications with an interest in storytelling or equivalent experience.

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Avid, Slack, and Google Docs. 

  • Proficiency with hybrid meeting tools including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

  • Knowledge of RingCentral platform a bonus.

  • Creative thinker who understands monetizing content while maintaining editorial integrity. 

  • Must be aware of latest formats and trends in digital video as a distinct form of content.

  • Understanding of NBCUniversal News Group platforms and shows to produce deliverables for sponsorship packages.
