Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Manager in New York, New York, 10029, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising payroll processes, managing employee onboarding, and overseeing various accounting functions. Your tasks will also include reconciling for absences and benefits, and handling other ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the semi-monthly payroll cycle for 250-275 salaried employees.

• Manage and oversee the onboarding process for new hires.

• Handle the calculation and processing of severance and bonuses.

• Maintain and process timecards via Paylocity.

• Carry out various accounting functions, including auditing and 401k - RRSP Administration.

• Use ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to perform tasks related to financial services.

• Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Crystal Reports, and Excel Formulas for data management and report generation.

• Handle Benefit Functions and Benefits Payroll.

• Use Paycom software to manage payroll and human resources tasks.

• Work on other ad hoc projects as required. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Understanding of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Familiarity with Ceridian and Crystal Reports

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration and About Time

• Knowledge in Accounting Functions and Auditing

• Ability to perform Benefit Functions

• Proficiency in using Paycom and Paylocity

• Expertise in Excel Formulas

• Experience in Benefits Payroll and Full Cycle Payroll

• Capability to manage a team and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
