We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our partner business development team at Intuit Mailchimp and take our business to the next level. You will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by supporting, executing, and scaling new business development initiatives and routes to market across all our global operating regions. You will support the BD strategies by identifying, acquiring, and managing new lighthouse partners for each initiative and drive deep engagement, with focus on delivering net new growth, upleveling customer success, and helping Intuit Mailchimp accelerate both volume and velocity of new business acquisition.

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships and/or business development.

  • Ability to think strategically and analytically about business expansion at a global scale.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Passionate about driving partner engagement and growth

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and actions

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in establishing 0 to1 partner channels for SaaS applications.

  • Ability to develop, review and negotiate complex contracts and familiarity with standard deal structures.

  • Familiarity with Martech and Ecommerce ecosystem and players

  • Global operating experience with ability to regionalize operating models for maximum impact.

How you will lead

  • Successfully negotiate lighthouse partner agreements for new BD initiatives including technical and business negotiations, and risk management in partnership with our finance and legal teams.

  • Manage and build Intuit Mailchimp business with a set of newly acquired partners, acting as their main point of contact, and ensuring their continued high-touch engagement with Mailchimp.

  • Drive go-to-market strategies with the partner to increase customer acquisition and growth.

  • Build effective relationships with partners to ensure alignment on priorities and goals.

  • Contribute to partner’s new client acquisition strategy, leveraging Mailchimp's channels and assets or creating new bespoke initiatives.

  • Develop training and enablement materials and deliver sales enablement to managed partners.

  • Identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to improve partner engagement and performance.

  • Contribute to Partner BD playbook, and global operating model, collaborating with our regional teams, in preparation for scaling newly established routes to market.

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure customer success, onboarding, and support.

  • Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
