Citigroup Operations & Control Project Manager, VP in New York, New York

We are currently searching for an Operations & Control Project Manager with an analytical, strategic, and operational mindset to join our Marketing Acquisitions team. The team is specifically focused on driving consistent marketing requirements across each business function, while driving radical digitization and simplification through the rollout of streamlined digital governance approval processes that support our agile operating model. The individual in this role will perform a variety of functions, which range from project management to business support efforts specific to operations and control oversight across Retail Bank, Mortgage, and Cards.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as integral partner across varied functional groups to champion progress relating to operational and control initiatives

  • Lead, document, and implement process improvements across the organization to streamline and remediate existing processes in support of Acquisitions Marketing

  • Ensure leadership is kept abreast of project plans and impacts to ensure cross-functional updates are executed flawlessly

  • Support Marketing process owners and teams as an in business Control Point of Contact across Acquisitions and Digital Sales Transformation

  • To be challenged with finding innovative ways to drive enhancements and address potential risk of existing marketing activities, risk, control, and monitoring

  • A cross-discipline environment where you will interact with subject matter experts across analytics, modeling, creative ops, and technical teams

  • Create and maintain project status updates with internal and external stakeholders; ensure project completeness and pacing. Communicate updates cross-team weekly

  • Adhere to strict compliance and regulatory controls; maintain accurate and complete documentation, including strong written and verbal communication

  • Successfully manage across varied levels internal/external to the team in driving projects to meet timelines

  • Track completion of tasks in a compliant, audit-friendly format. Adhere to all audit practices and controls

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in Marketing and retail bank/financial services industry experience.

  • Project management experience and strong business acumen with ability to correlate analytics and business objectives

  • Extensive experience in consumer banking operations, marketing and operational risk management with a comprehensive understanding of requirements for marketing policy/process execution

  • Support and at times drive various control-related documentation and projects in support of Marketing, requiring strong orientation around quality control techniques, change management and quality assurance processes

  • Strong initiative and self-starting approach, and ability to operate effectively in an organizational climate of frequent change

  • Proven analytical, project and process management skills with ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time to drive results through strong written and verbal communication across all areas of leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency and accountability

  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership, with robust understanding of quality control techniques, change management and quality assurance processes

  • Experience with regulatory and internal audit/compliance processes a plus

  • Ability to embrace change, challenge the status quo and work collaboratively to drive results

  • Strong orientation around quality control techniques, change management and quality assurance processes

  • Ability to create support and buy-in across stakeholders

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
