Overview
The Media Planner is responsible for media strategy development, planning/buying and campaign analysis related to multiple online acquisition channels. This individual serves as the day-to-day internal team and client contact and demonstrates an emerging ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with creative and analytics. They also assist in the training and mentorship of assistant media planners. Has completed media plans independently. Has shown the ability to analyze data and glean relative insights; can present information/plans to clients (in writing and verbally). Has demonstrated emerging relationship skills and a good working knowledge of web media processes, terms, publishers, and products. Has mastered internal planning tools.
Responsibilities
Core Skills
Assists Media Planners and Sr. Media Planners on media plan development and competitive analysis.
Learns the basics and utilizes media planning tools (Prisma, DoubleClick, etc.) to assist planners; executes media plans and plan revisions.
Participates in competitive analysis and tracking.
Supports vendor/publisher relationship.
Emerging mastery of media math.
Strong attention to detail, quality assurance.
Emerging negotiation skills.
Good internal relationship skills.
Business Operations
Completes month-end billing in partnership with the account management team
Develops foundational knowledge of Prisma platform
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience
Passion for performance marketing
Experienced with Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated desire to learn, proactiveness and accountability
Exhibits strong organizational skills
Typically an internally-facing role but can gain exposure to clients depending on team ramp-up
Milestones
Has shown a passion for digital media.
Has demonstrated a strong desire and capacity to learn.
Has exhibited strong organizational skills.
Has developed experience with MS Office Suite.

Compensation Range: $59,850 - $90,620. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
