Job Title: Manager – Finance, A&P HQ Education

What You Will Do:

The Manager will have financial planning, reporting and analysis responsibilities for multiple brands within the Professional Products Division, with a key focus in all Education Investments as well as assisting with our PPD Level Loyalty Program Financials. The position will also have a transversal focus on overseeing Total A&P spend for L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase and Shu Uemura Hair, and will be a key partner to the brand controller and total business . This position works directly with the Brand Finance Controllers, PPD Brand Education Teams, PPD Level Loyalty Team, HQ Finance and Accounting teams and the BEST Shared Service Center to promote optimal decision making within the business.

  • Provide Financial support and guidance to the Brand Finance Leads by identifying risks & opportunities through budget management and ongoing meetings with business partners

  • Lead partner for all education teams to drive discussions and alignment on education Fuel Budgets across all PPD Brands including spend associated with in salon education, academies and education shows & events

  • Animate and further improve P&L for consolidated activity of education centers (Redken Exchange, Prolab and West Coast Academy)

  • Provide monthly reporting to all business partners and ensure actuals are aligned with planned spend

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities of monetizing education by analyzing the profitability of classes and academies

  • Enhance existing analysis on Loyalty Program Reporting to a more comprehensive one

  • Manage total brand A&P Consolidation for multiple PPD Brands and ensure alignment with brand controller on all A&P investments across these brands

  • Manage Total education consolidations to provide analysis and present recommendations on education investments to management

  • Accountability for A&P budget / trend creation and maintenance in Compass

  • Financial tracking of strategic expansion of Education project vs business plan (+140 HC)

  • Develop ad hoc analysis to evaluate spend and enable management to make sound business decisions

  • Ensure expenses are classified in accordance to the L’Oreal Finance Norms

    What We Are Looking For:

    Required Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in finance or accounting required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economy, Business Administration or Accounting required.

  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen, leadership, oral and written communication and presentation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Eager to learn and the ability to enhance current processes.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

  • Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management.

  • Strong computer skills required; must have expert-level experience with Excel, Word, and Power Point. Power BI and visualization dashboards a plus.

    Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

    Salary Range :  $100,400-$143,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
