Title: Manager, Data Analytics

Reports to : Director, Data Science & Analytics

Location: New York, NY (Full-Time, On-Site)

The Role:

Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is seeking a Manager, Data Analytics who will lead reporting and data insights for the Music, Sports, and Brands verticals that encompass Roc Nation’s exciting roster of clients. Responsibilities will include standard weekly reports, as well as, daily ad-hoc recaps to support Digital, Branding and Marketing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working intimately with data (Excel, data manipulation, statistical analysis) as well as an eagerness to work in the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

The Manager, Data Analytics will work closely with digital account leads to ensure the timely and coordinated delivery of the following services and products to key stakeholders including internal management, branding, and philanthropy teams; artist managers and athlete agents; clients; and sponsors/branding partners.

Data Reporting, Insights, and Strategy

• Manage standardized weekly & monthly reporting

• Analyze social media, press, and consumption data for daily ad-hoc insights on clients, client activity, events, trends and market

• Deliver key strategic take-aways for ad-hoc requests across all verticals (music, sports, brands)

• Lead post-mortem reporting for major events, including lessons learned and suggested next steps

• Design data visualizations and dashboards for relevant BI platforms and reports

• Monitor ongoing social listening queries

Data Infrastructure & Education

• Act as point person for 3rd party data partners and be intimately familiar with key platforms and data products within the company

• Effectively communicate data insights, processes, and statistical logic to internal and external partners with varying familiarity around data

• Lead awareness of new products, approaches, and trends in the data and technology space

Required Attributes and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• 2 - 4 years in a data driven and analytical role; preferably in the music, sports and/or entertainment industry

• Familiarity with major social media platforms and corresponding KPIs

• Fluent in Excel, and Boolean search tactics, and familiarity with SQL, Python or other coding languages is beneficial

• Ability to communicate and deliver results flexibly in ad hoc environments

• Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Self-starter; excited by fast-paced environments

• Experience with web analytics including Google Analytics

  COVID-19 vaccination series and booster shot is a mandatory requirement for this position.

New York City Pay Range*: $70,000 - $80,000
