JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX is looking for a Manager to join our Corporate Development team in Los Angeles or New York. The Corporate Development team at Fox Corporation works cross-functionally alongside Senior Executives and Divisional Management to analyze a broad range of financial, strategic, operational, and competitive opportunities across the Media and Entertainment landscape. This small team plays an active role in forging FOX's path forward, executing more than $100 billion of strategic transactions in 2019. The Analyst/Associate will support the team buy providing due diligence and transaction support through research and analysis, building complex financial models, and preparing Power Point presentations used for decision making. With insight into decision-making at the highest levels, the Manager will be positioned to develop a deep knowledge of the industry as well as a vast, enduring skill set.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Corporate Development team with financial analysis and evaluation of growth initiatives and new business launches
  • Create presentations for senior management to facilitate discussion of corporate opportunities and other strategic business initiatives
  • Due diligence research, peer company tracking, and other projects supporting potential investments, joint ventures, and acquisitions
  • Develop comprehensive analysis for the team to evaluate a wide range of business situations including new investment opportunities, new business/product opportunities, general corporate finance projects, industry, and competitive analysis, and acquisition/divestiture transaction support
  • Perform financial analysis using standard corporate finance methods (discounted cash flow/market comp valuation approaches, business driver operating financial models, etc.) and perform strategic analysis using market, competitive, and opportunity frameworks. Analysis and findings will be used by Fox corporate and business unit leadership to support strategic decisions and general corporate operations

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 2-3 years of experience performing strategic, operational, and/or financial analysis within a Corporate, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or Media/Entertainment environment
  • Advanced proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability to build complex financial models diligence summaries, snapshots, and other formats used to support decision making
  • Ability to analyze complex financial and strategic issues and communicate findings to the management team in writing, through presentations, and verbally
  • Self-starter with a positive and team-oriented attitude

  • BA or BS with a strong record of academic achievement

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $106,000.00-148,500.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
