Your impact on the team:
McGraw Hill is seeking a Manager, Brand Communications to support our Corporate Communications team and their efforts to strengthen the McGraw Hill brand. The Manager, Brand Communications serves an important role on the McGraw Hill (MH) Corporate Communications team through the development of brand marketing, internal communications and corporate social responsibility efforts that strengthen the MH brand and culture.

You will play a critical role in supporting many different facets of MH's corporate communications strategy, from brand campaign management to employee communications, content development, company volunteer programs and more. You will work closely with marketing and communications stakeholders across MH, including our business unit marketing teams, human resources, technology, web and product development. This role can work from a MH office or remotely from a home office in the United States, with travel 3-4 times per year for in-person strategic meetings. Candidates must permanently reside within the United States to be considered for this opportunity.

A typical day might include:

  • Supporting the development of brand strategies, campaigns, content, messaging and guidelines that unify and strengthen the MH brand narrative across the company through collaboration with business unit marketing teams
  • Leading the user experience management and improvement for MH's company intranet, regularly analysing performance data to optimize the site experience for employees and working with intranet platform provider to identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinating among multiple stakeholders to promote company news and supports distribution of leadership announcements
  • Managing various Red Cube Cares volunteer activities and engagement supporting MH's social responsibility efforts
  • Developing monthly reports highlighting insights and performance updates across the Corporate Communications team
  • Collaborating with the web experience team on maintaining and optimizing corporate web pages on mheducation.com to increase engagement based on performance analytics
  • Advising on the development of digital content for company web sites to support brand favourability and talent acquisition goals.

You should apply if you have:

  • Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of work experience required, preferably in a communications, creative or digital marketing role
  • Must be an organized and detail-oriented project manager, able to juggle multiple priorities at once and identify and implement opportunities for more efficient processes
  • Comfortable setting agendas and leading cross-functional team meetings, with an emphasis on ensuring all stakeholders involved are clear on next steps and timing
  • Excellent writing, communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment, adapt to change, and problem solve independently
  • Internal communications, web experience and/or graphic design experience a plus
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - willing to seek out new ways to contribute and make an impact

The pay range for this position is between $75,000-$90,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
