Insight Global Localization Project Manager in New York, New York

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a localization project manager to support a Language Services team to implement the enterprise brand across business units and implement/optimize in-language adaptation. This person will be supporting translation, localization, and vendor processes to ensure a seamless user experience for non-English speakers. On a day to day basis, candidates will attend daily vendor and production calls, maintain project trackers for timelines and aggressive due dates and work closely with a team of localization content managers to align layouts and designs within Figma. Candidates can also expect do due the following activities:

Manage weekly vendor briefings through vendor portal of new digital launches

Assist with digital vendor migration

Project manage translation and DTP requests for privacy, creative marketing, and local requests

Co-manage Figma projects which include manual copy routing through approvals, coordinating with vendor partners, and final QA checks

Candidates should be comfortable working with external agencies to inform on project instructions, content launches and guidelines on brand voice, terminology, and style. The role is fully remote but candidates must be open to work eastern standard time.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience with localization or translation

Strong project management skills - keeping track of timelines, shifting due dates, project updates, multiple vendors and internal approvers, tight turnaround times, and diligent documentation

Professional Spanish translation experience - brand voice and glossary compliance, strong experience using TMS, Smartling preferred

Figma experience - Figma TMS connector experience, solid understanding of basic design elements in Figma to do light DTP post-translation

Jira, Workfront, TermWeb, Asana

Bachelor's Degree in localization/translation or equivalent years of working experience null
