MasterCard International Incorporated Lead Technical Program Manager in New York, New York

Position Duties: Define and build cloud-native software products as a platform at scale with a deep understanding of those platforms’ capabilities and underlying technologies. Plan and manage a group of related technology projects or activities in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery. Help customers and the engineering teams make trade-off decisions by considering all the data including business goals, technical platform strategy, customer experience and maintainability. Recognize complex designs and propose simplified solutions by working with software design engineers, principals and TPMs. Partner with industry vendors that provide technology or user experience design components that support architecture and work with vendors on implementation plans and roadmaps identifying partnership opportunities to increase our development velocity and our learnings. Work across teams or multiple scrum teams to optimize processes, align dependent organizations and identify blocking issues and manage their resolution. Work with external to the organization or external to Mastercard technology providers and customers and show proven track record of data driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams. Focus on the customer experience, the build and delivery processes and the problems to be solved and have a deep understanding of the business and technical requirements for the solutions being built. Communicate progress, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels and write documentation as required. Communicate role up of project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner for senior leadership consumption, escalating blocking issues when appropriate. Review metrics and seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility ensuring your program stay aligned with organization objectives.Job Requirements: Position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related and two (2) years of experience in job offered or as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, Systems Analyst or related. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. Qualifying experience must include at least one (1) year with each of the following: BITBUCKET; PCF; JENKINS; SPLUNK; SONARQUBE; POSTMAN; SCRUM; KANBAN. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Option to work from home exists. May live anywhere within the United States.
