Investment Solutions Group (ISG) provides access to a comprehensive wealth management platform that can help clients easily identify and prioritize goals, create a plan and a personalized strategy. Through a highly effective investment process, the organization provides investment solutions across all product platforms and asset classes through a comprehensive due diligence and oversight process for client portfolios. It also coordinates the investment strategy for wealth management advisors and clients, harmonizing and distilling market themes, identifying trends and supporting our client-focused investing approach.
The Business Strategy & Initiatives Executive will report to the Head of Strategy and Business Management Executive and will be responsible for supporting the efforts to identify and manage strategic initiatives designed to support and enhance the positioning of the Investment Solutions Group (ISG). This job is responsible for helping to lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives, and/or processes aligned to the bank's priorities within a functional area and/or business. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and/or refining strategic initiatives and/or processes including management of strategic reviews by senior leadership in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners.
This role will assist in establishing and supporting performance measures and metrics to ensure execution of the business plan, analyses industry and client data to drive innovative new wealth management solutions while ensuring focus is maintained on delivering the broader business strategy. The ideal candidate is a strong manager with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization, with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and a process improvement mind-set with the ability to drive optimization. Directly supports the program's strategic direction, transformation efforts and process driven culture.
Responsibilities:
Partners closely with the ISG leadership team to continuously evaluate and refine the ISG strategy and priorities
Defines product roadmap development in partnership with product leads and client journey work
Builds and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
Develops senior executive ready communications and presentations that clearly outline strategic priorities.
Leads short- and long-term projects from framing strategic problems to executing analysis, driving insights, developing recommendations and implementation enabled by a small team of project managers.
Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business and wealth and asset management industry
Works directly with Line of Business partners to gather information needed to identify and implement solutions that resolve critical business challenges and opportunities
Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
Leverages analytics and critical thinking to solve complex business problems and translate issues into structured design-oriented solutions with clearly defined business case benefits
Oversees the process for building and/or executing business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives, while providing updates on strategic business initiatives
Approves and oversees the development of strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives
Required qualifications:
10+ years of strategic development and business transformation experience
Deep understanding of investment products within asset and wealth management
Strong leaderships skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Executive presence and ability to lead meetings, including meetings with executive participants
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in problem analysis and solution design
Strong partnership skills – build broad-based business relationships across the organization using influencing skills while demonstrating strong conflict resolution capabilities
