Robert Half HR Generalist in New York, New York

Description We are searching for a meticulous HR Generalist to join our team located in New York. The HR Generalist will be expected to handle a range of administrative tasks, from maintaining calendars to managing payroll aspects such as transit cards. This role also involves managing relationships with vendors, coordinating events, and handling AMEX reporting. An analytical mindset is required as the role will involve some analytical work. The HR Generalist may also be required to cover administrative tasks in other departments such as legal and operations if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Handle administrative tasks including maintaining calendars and managing transit cards for payroll

• Manage relationships with vendors and coordinate events as required

• Handle AMEX reporting including managing HR Directors' receipts

• Carry out analytical tasks as part of the role

• Cover administrative tasks in other departments such as legal and operations when required

• Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures

• Administer compensation and benefit plans

• Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies

• Handle employee relations issues

• Complete expense reports as needed

• Use HRMS and other systems to manage HR functions efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Understanding of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.

• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS.

• Familiarity with About Time software.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration.

• Strong understanding of Compliance regulations in HR.

• Experience in Employee Relations.

• Ability to Complete Expense Reports effectively and efficiently.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
