NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing Grant Administrator, Post-Award - Arts & Science Office of Research in New York, New York

Position Summary

Arts & Science is seeking an experienced Grant Administrator, Post-Award to join the Arts & Science Office of Research. The Post-Award Grant Administrator will manage post-award administrative aspects and some pre-award processes of all grants and other sponsored research projects. Provide Principal Investigators with guidance and administrative support. Work with the University central departments including Sponsored Projects Administration and UDAR to ensure the financial report submissions are accurate, complete, up-to-date, timely, and compliant with the University policies and sponsor’s terms and conditions. Oversee and manage multiple departments’ funding portfolios in addition to monitoring and reconciling expenditures to the University’s financial systems. As a member of the Arts and Science Office of Research (ASOR) team, this position will liaise between the department and central university offices, federal, state, local, corporate agencies and private foundations keeping faculty and project directors abreast of both internal and external policies.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Master's Degree Research Administrator (C.R.A.) CertificationRequired Experience:3+ years relevant experience, including two years of progressively responsible post-award research administration experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, follow through, confidence, and flexibility required. Must be able to understand and communicate budgetary details and create and manage databases relevant to ASOR. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Knowledge of the regulatory environment affecting sponsored projects (e.g., Uniform Guidance) including research, technical assistance, professional development, consulting, etc.; the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders including faculty, students, and department, school and university administrators.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $80,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
