Job Description

Core responsibility and duties:

  • The Manager will serve as a point of contact for assigned businesses to provide holistic and consultative services on available immigration options, internal Agency guidelines, and education/training on new or changing policies or initiatives.

  • The primary focus of the role will be U.S. immigration (all visa types L, H1B, O, E, F1, Green Cards -PERM based and non- perm based. An ideal candidate will have experience in both US visas and Canada visas.

  • The Global mobility manager will manage processes for the entire life cycle of an international move, including, Short Term assignments, Long Term Assignments, Permanent Relocations, Commuters, and others as needed.

  • Manage VIP’s identified as requiring attention and additional support for relocations, other moves or immigration services. Ability to support very high touch service model for VIP’s including managing daily communications, managing Vendor services, coordinating with Agency Stakeholders.

  • Position may require 10% travel

Highlight day-to-day activities of the position:

  • The Manager will drive, develop, and implement new processes in Publicis Groupe’s Shared Service model.

  • *S/he will implement mechanisms to measure quality and the consistent application of these processes including SLA adherence and create of KPIs. *

  • S/he will refine and scale innovative solutions to the most difficult operational challenges. This aspect of the role will entail management of internal stakeholders, as well as vendor management.

  • The Manager will serve as a point of contact for assigned businesses to provide holistic and consultative services on available immigration options and Global Mobility policy options for a move, when applicable.

  • Serve has main point of contact for Agencies looking to send employees on international assignments, remote working arrangements and permanent relocations.

  • Duties will consist of, but not limited to;

  • Review cost estimates and GM package letters that are aligned with Publicis Groupe Mobility policies.

  • Manage external vendors services and billing processes

  • Oversee complex tax set ups for international assignments and/or remote working arrangements

  • Manage tax compliance obligations for your responsible agencies relative to mobile employees,

  • Answer inquiries on tax or policy related questions from Agency employees, Agency stakeholders

  • Monitor tax equalization collections activities.

  • And other various duties related to Global Mobility program

  • Oversight/managerial responsibilities over direct reports.

  • As a member of the Global Mobility team, you will be responsible for the ensuring and safeguarding the Publicis agencies and its employees relative to immigration and cross border tax complexities. You will be instrumental in the business’ strategy of using Mobility to facilitate business and client needs while ensuring the company is compliant and the employee experience is unmatched.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of U.S. immigration experience in an organization with a significant volume of immigration-supported people or in an HR or mobility role with U.S. immigration involvement

  • 5-8 years of experience with mobility operations, mobility tax concepts, mobility processes and policies as well as program and vendor management

  • Experience maintaining accurate and orderly records.

  • VIP customer service experience required.

  • Required Proficiency with the MS Office Suite and strong Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Confidence engaging with C suite/executive Talent

  • Grace and Poise in difficult conversations and messaging
