We are offering a one-day contract employment opportunity for an Event Host based in New York. The position falls within the event management industry, and the role entails providing support for a high-profile event. The successful candidate will be based at a prestigious location in New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently attend to guests at the registration table during the conference

• Produce and distribute name tags for guests after checking them in

• Manage interactions with Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, ensuring courteous engagement at all times

• Direct guests to their designated areas or persons of interest within the conference

• Maintain a detail oriented appearance, adhering to the dress code of black pants, white or all-black top, and a blazer

• Ensure personal grooming is impeccable, with clean, well-manicured fingernails

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for administrative tasks relating to guest management and event coordination.

Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role, such as Event Host or Event Coordinator.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage event logistics and data.

• Experience with guest check-in procedures and software.

• Ability to direct guests effectively and courteously during events.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests and event participants.

• Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations and solve problems promptly.

• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules.

• Knowledge of event planning and execution processes.

• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.

• High level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
