Job Title: Drywall Installer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet rock installation, taping, spackling, and other related tasks. This role involves working on various commercial construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Install drywall sheets to walls and ceilings.

• Tape and spackle joints to prepare surfaces for painting or finishing.

• Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to the required dimensions.

• Read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents.

• Perform finish carpentry tasks as needed.

• Work with hand tools and power tools to complete installations.

• Install metal studs and acoustical ceilings.

• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in drywall installation and finishing.

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Knowledge of commercial construction practices.

• Ability to measure and cut materials accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification.

• 10-hour SST Card.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and own tools.

Work Environment
