Director, eCommerce Activation & Innovation

Location: New York, NY

Professional Products Division, eCommerce Acceleration Team

The Professional Products Division (PPD) is looking for a strategic, passionate, pro-active, collaborative, and analytical candidate to join the eCommerce Acceleration Team focused on driving best-in-class digital experiences across all of our B2C and B2B channels. As the eCommerce activation & innovation lead, you will be customer obsessed, focused on supporting the launch & acceleration of new brands and/or eCommerce channels leveraging a data driven lens. You will help develop the future of PPD’s professional eCommerce content leveraging consumer insights, digital shelf analytics, new predictive & generative AI tools & enhance the customer journey to drive engagement & conversion of our products and brands.

The candidate must have excellent communication, presentation, & digital content expertise with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, multi-task in a fast-paced environment while managing expectations to effectively bring projects to life.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive the launch and acceleration of brands on new eCommerce channels using a data driven content & CX approach rooted in insights and the competitive landscape

  • Manage content testing opportunities and optimizations

  • Support the activation and acceleration of social commerce in collaboration with LUSA CDMO & Brand(s) to drive sales and content engagement

  • Champion the usage of Opera, with a focus on process, IP rights compliance & management

  • Co-develop & refine best practice framework for professional eCommerce content & CX in the US

  • Cascade learnings, upskill & collaborate with brands, DMIs, channel leads and CDMO partners on best-in-class digital shelf & CX experiences across B2C & B2B to achieve excellence in execution for our brands

  • Share updates on US category landscape & workstreams with CDMO & Global counterparts

    Requirements:

  • 7+ years of digital marketing, merchandising and/or content creation experience

  • Strong understanding of the digital industry; beauty and content experience a plus

  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel and PowerPoint are a must have skill. Ability to create high impact presentations, storytell & influence cross-functional partners.

  • Must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and a sense of urgency.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines through prioritization & expectation management

  • Must demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, critical thinking & problem solving skills

  • Ability to gather & synthesize data across multiple sources to formulate insights and manage through ambiguity

  • Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the ecommerce acceleration team and with cross functional peers

  • Process-oriented mindset along with high level of curiosity

  • Ability to take initiative, act proactively & drive projects to the finish line

    Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

    Salary Range : $140,100 - $203,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
