About Credit & Fraud Risk Finance

Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) Finance team delivers fact-based, decision-driven and high-impact Net Loss Provision forecasts and credit-risk related insights and deep analytics. The key objective is to drive prudent financial decisions and support credit-risk strategies while ensuring adherence to governance and controls. This position will be part of a highly talented team with strong intellectual curiosity.

About The Director, Credit Reserve and Macroeconomic Analytics

This position will deliver deep analytics, insights and governance related to credit reserves (CECL and IFRS9). This role will play an important role in generating insights from US and international macroeconomic trends, leading the evolution of credit reserve models and calculating credit loss reserves for international markets. To succeed in the role, the incumbent needs to have a very good blend of analytical skills, risk modeling experience, project management, relationship building, and people management skills.

How will you make an Impact in this role ?

  • Generate insights through deep analytics on US and international macroeconomic trends

  • Lead results and analysis for CECL and IFRS9 credit reserves for international markets

  • Identify opportunity areas and lead efforts for PD, EAD, LGD models, process and controls improvement

  • Own the quarterly CECL and IFRS9 credit reserve calculations, analysis and governance, including assessing qualitative reserves and reviewing key model assumptions, and ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial data and results for reporting

  • Partners across the organization – Risk modeling team, Technology, Second Line, Controllership

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in accounting, science, or engineering with 6 years of experience

  • Deep Experience in advanced analytics and building loss forecasting models, preferably for CECL/IFRS9

  • Significant hands-on experience managing/leading projects using large amounts of data and application of advanced predictive analytics

  • Advanced excel modeling skills and high level of proficiency in PowerPoint are required

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Hive

  • Leadership – Act & lead with courage, build relationships (especially with senior leaders), make decisions quickly & influence change. Do you drive results?

  • Strategic & Analytical – Ability to be a thought partner to help maximize the team’s goals; demonstration of analytical prowess exhibiting a positive change in results

  • Agile Mindset – Positive, can-do attitude, adaptable to change, and highly motivated self-starter

  • Organized Approach – Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with great follow-up and attention to detail, and work well in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Power BI, Tableau or other visualization tools experience

  • Experience with establishing and owning governance and controls around business processes

Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
