Citigroup Director, Brand and Reputation Research - C15 - New York, NY in New York, New York

Housed within Citi’s Enterprise Marketing and Brand Engagement Team, this role is part of the Brand Strategy, Insights and Analytics team. The Director, of Brand and Reputation Research will play a key role in helping the organization effectively manage Citi’s Brand Health and Reputation which is critical to building the business, improving returns and managing Reputation Risk.

This is a senior role requiring the individual to work with stakeholders across the businesses and geographies. This role requires deep domain expertise and experience in brand building, brand equity frameworks and managing all aspects of complex global measurement and analytics programs.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead Citi's Brand and Reputation measurement program, firmwide across all key audiences for the five interconnected businesses, as well as Influencers and Colleagues globally.

  • Manage all aspects of research design including assessment of business objectives, survey design, target specification and sample planning.

  • Oversee ongoing global fieldwork, data collection and data governance to ensure the highest level of integrity and golden source data.

  • Design strategic analyses and data analytics to reveal actionable insights and key drivers of brand/reputation

  • Oversee the quarterly Brand reporting, Executive Scorecards, and Reputation Risk reporting.

  • Lead quarterly review and planning sessions with key stakeholders across the countries and lines of business. Provide strategic insights and consultation to leverage actionable insights for building the brand and business.

  • Collaborate with the partners in the Insights and Analytics team on research and analytics programs that both leverage and inform the brand research.

  • Oversee Sponsorship tracking research, onsite research and valuation research to inform strategic and tactical decisions.

  • Manage research operations including budgeting, and 3rd party research vendors, process documentation.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience managing all aspects of primary marketing research and specific experience managing brand and reputation research across B2C and B2B audiences. Ideally with client side and agency side experience.

  • Experienced in managing research vendor relationships and expertise in creating high performing relationships.

  • Strong analytics experience and understanding of driver models

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to distill data into business insights and implications for senior leadership.

  • Knowledge across advertising, media, sponsorships and corporate communications

  • Proven track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required; Masters preferred.

  • Effective team player with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, on budget and on time.

  • Experience in successfully influencing others and navigating complex and highly matrixed organizations.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
