Amazon Digital Marketing Manager, AWS T&C - Marketing in New York, New York

We’re looking for an experienced, results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to support the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training and Certification Global Marketing team in developing and activating digital campaigns focused on driving awareness and engagement with our training and certification services and solutions. In this role, you will be part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training and Certification Digital Marketing team.

You will be responsible for a business specific Marketo instance including its data integration, process definition, troubleshooting, campaign automation, data integrity and platform enablement. You will partner with many functional teams in AWS and Training and Certification including training delivery, business development, central marketing automation, product marketing and others, owning the email marketing strategy and execution of Marketo programs. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background in Marketo, a deep understanding of the Marketo data model, and B2B/B2I Marketing Operations experience focused on driving business results. You will work to implement and champion best practices and new, innovative ideas, and at the tactical level to test and execute digital campaigns and iterate based on performance metrics. You will employ a heavy bias towards automation, always looking for opportunities to drive the optimal customer experience and internal efficiencies in a scalable way. Our ideal candidate has a mind that is equal parts creative and analytical. They will help manage, implement, and execute digital campaigns, with an emphasis on the successful build, launch, and analysis of email campaigns and landing environments. Ideal candidates are passionate about owning programs, testing and learning, and driving conversions to hit goals.

Strong preference this role sits in Seattle, WA; but other locations can include Portland, OR; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Arlington, VA; New York, NY; San Diego, CA; or Los Angeles, CA.

Key job responsibilities

*Digital Marketing POC and power user of a business line specific Marketo environment, owning it's integration with Salesforce, optimizing system configuration, and maintenance

*Strategic Partner to Global Campaign Leads, Events Marketing, Product Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to create the best quality digital experience aligned to evolving strategy, including email and landing page optimization, form processing, A/B testing, and recommendations to most effectively engage customers within digital channels

*Implements the targeting and customer segmentation for digital campaigns, manages the maintenance of a library of assets, upholds data accuracy and hygiene to support ongoing campaign and reporting initiatives

*Ensures marketing and sales data are syncing between systems, including field mapping maintenance, campaign configuration, and reporting enablement

*Maintains system components to support lead management processes within Marketo and Salesforce, including customer segmentation, funnel telemetry, lead assignment, scoring, nurturing, email deliverability, and appropriate handling of data privacy and protection measures in line with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR and CCPA

*Supports localization process for the campaign, including supporting Localization and Activation for international geographies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing or multi-channel digital campaign development with a heavy focus on email marketing and automation.

  • Bachelor Degree in marketing, economics, business, engineering and/or relevant field of study

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include digital advertising, lead nurture programs, live events, webinars, and social media

  • Marketing Automation Platform experience, preferably Marketo with a Marketo Certified Expert certification.

  • Hands-on experience building, launching, and reporting on campaigns using Marketo, Salesforce.com, Splashthat, and Qualtrics

  • Experience with B2B marketing, specifically high-tech products/services

  • Ability to work independently and autonomously

  • Solid quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills - comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make recommendations and drive decisions

  • Proven experience building test and learn plans that continuously improve program engagement

  • Passion to continually learn and expand hands-on technical skills · Demonstrable experience finding ways to drive operational efficiency

  • Highly collaborative and has experience working cross-functionally and gathering requirements across business teams Expertise in managing and prioritizing multiple projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
