Job Description

• Enhancing developer productivity across augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality devices.

    * Understanding the software lifecycle, including source control and programming files.

    * Identifying and filling any gaps in data from various data sources.

    * Building data pipelines tailored to reporting and dashboard requirements.

    * Creating and maintaining data dashboards.

    * Investigating data pipelines to identify and resolve issues, such as incorrect code numbers.

Data Engineer, Product Analytics Responsibilities

Manage and execute data warehouse plans for a product or a group of products to solve well-scoped problems

Identify the data needed for a business problem and implement logging required to ensure availability of data, while working with data infrastructure to triage issues and resolve

Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to understand data needs, representing key data insights in a meaningful way

Build data expertise and leverage data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and operations for allocated areas of ownership

Design, build and launch new data models and visualizations in production, leveraging common development toolkits

Independently design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes in production, mentoring others around efficient queries

Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance

Define and manage SLA for data sets in allocated areas of ownership

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of professional data engineering experience

    * Expert-level proficiency with distributed data processing frameworks, such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, BigQuery, TensorFlow, Databricks, etc.

    * Strong software engineering background with the ability to interpret and explain complex data.

   Experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, etc.) * Familiarity with Apache Spark

    * Excellent communication skills and a diverse perspective.

    * Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) can be helpful in managing and processing large datasets.

    * Machine Learning: Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques can be useful in developing predictive models and data-driven solutions.

Data Visualization: The ability to create interactive and informative dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js can help communicate insights effectively to stakeholders. null
