The salary range for this role, based in New York is $64,080.00 to $80,100.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The position of Pricing Coordinator is a crucial role within the Pernod Ricard USA (PRUSA) organization. This role will be responsible for the coordination and, where possible, the automation of pricing information within the PRUSA eco-system. The successful candidate will act as a crucial point of contact for pricing information and pricing systems across their geographical and distributor footprint. In addition, they will work with cross functional partners to resolve pricing issues/errors in a timely fashion and proactively work with colleagues to standardize and streamline the management of pricing data to bring efficiency to the process and improve price visibility to the wider organization.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Updates/maintains pricing structures within PSM in partnership with state Finance Managers
  • Enters accurate FOB information into the E1 system (ahead of eventual automation)
  • Prepares and submits monthly state price filings (where applicable)
  • Monitors and resolves any PSM/E1 pricing discrepancies
  • Conducts routine analysis of price structures and margins
  • Supports the accurate and timely reimbursement of distributor price support invoices
  • Undertakes and/or supports ad hoc pricing-related projects where required
  • Participates in user-testing for all pricing tools and templates

Nature & Scope

This position reports to the RGM lead for each Sales Division and will interact directly with PRUSA commercial Sales and commercial Finance teams.

This role will play an integral role in ensuring data integrity relating to pricing information across PRUSA systems, as well as reconciliation with external (distributor) data sources/invoices. The impact of the position is foundational to the RGM agenda at PRUSA, by ensuring that all pricing data within PRUSA systems (PSM) is correct and up-to-date.

As such, it is critical for the individual in this role to demonstrate strong attention to detail and possess solid analytical skills. The nature of the role also requires that the successful individual be a self-starter with strong organization, time management, and communication skills.

Key requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience / Background:
    • Past roles in pricing, operations, sales, finance and/or accounting
    • Work experience of 1-2 years with some pricing-related experience (ideally in the CPG industry)
    • Familiarity with dedicated pricing tools (e.g. PSM) as well as ERP systems (e.g. JDE)
    • Demonstrated analytical ability
    • Skilled in Excel and other Microsoft office programs
    • Experience in project management a plus
