Description We are searching for a Collections Specialist to join our team in New York, New York. This role is primarily centered around resolving customer credit inquiries and maintaining accurate credit records. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts for delinquent payments and take appropriate action as necessary

• Review loan applications and communicate with individuals regarding their status

• Maintain high volume workload while ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently

• Comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines when communicating with individuals about payments

• Utilize various accounting software systems such as Accurint, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, and Microsoft Excel to perform duties

• Employ excellent customer service skills to build and maintain relationships with customers

• Utilize knowledge of billing functions and collection processes to perform job duties effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Accurint

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Proficiency in IBM AS/400

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Understanding of Collection Processes

• Experience as a Collector

• Understanding of Credit management

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Experience in Collections.
