Now Brewing: barista, Experiential Coffee Bar - Empire State Reserve As a barista at our Experiential Coffee bar (XBAR), you will showcase your craft and coffee expertise. Being part of the Experiential Bar involves creating a multisensory experience in the art, science, and theater of coffee. We offer many unique brew methods- from a Pour Over, Chemex, French Press, Siphon, Espresso, and a classic cup of coffee from our Clover Brewing system. The innovation continues with menu offerings including our signature Affogatos and Malts. This fast-paced environment encourages baristas to develop their passion for service and ability to work with a diverse team. The Experiential Bar looks to elevate the guest experience through Belonging, Joy, and craft as we create connections, one cup at a time. Job Summary and Mission This job contributes to Starbucks success of the Roastery & Reserve Store by providing an exceptional experience to all customers as ambassadors of coffee leadership and stewards of quality. Through a commitment to operational excellence, they work together as a team to create the Roastery & Reserve Experience for their customers and one another.  The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. Summary of Key Responsibilities Coffee Expert & Brand Ambassador: Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of StarbucksProvide unique coffee forward experience for every customerServe as coffee expert providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods (roasting process, flavor, etc.)Demonstrate impeccable composure and ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
