Lead the design and development of scalable and reliable system software architectures to support the organization's production technology needs. Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of system architects, engineers, and developers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological strategies. Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of system software components, including operating systems, middleware, drivers, and utilities, to meet performance and reliability requirements. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to plan and manage hardware and software infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services, to support system software deployment and operation. Analyze system performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization, tuning, and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization. Assess risks associated with system software architecture and implementation, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risk factors to ensure the integrity and reliability of production systems. Evaluate and select third-party vendors and technologies for system software components, negotiate contracts and licensing agreements, and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and reliability of software products and services. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system software architecture, configurations, and processes, and promote knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of system software components, leveraging automation, monitoring tools, and emerging technologies.Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.All of the required experience must have included experience with: utilizing fulfillment technology for meal kits; automated storage and retrieval systems; fulfillment robotic technology; warehouse controls systems; warehouse execution systems; warehouse management systems; data extraction and analytics; implementation strategies; project management; strategic planning; requirements gathering; and data engineering and custom software integration development. **Position requires domestic travel 50% of the time. *Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S.
