Department of Psychiatry Position: Program Child Medical Director, Psychiatry Faculty Practice Organization Position: Full-time, Officer Location: Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Faculty Practice Organization (FPO)

Job Summary: The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist assigned to work in the Faculty Practice Organization at CUIMC. This is a full-time position in an outpatient setting which will include both clinical, as well as administrative and leadership responsibilities. Across clinical sites, the Child Medical Director will be responsible for providing clinical oversight of other pediatric psychiatrists, developing educational and training programs in outpatient pediatric psychiatry, and establishing close partnership with interdisciplinary programs across the age spectrum. The position will include direct patient care with an emphasis in the candidate's clinical specialty. Exceptional Candidates: Demonstrated productivity in developing clinical treatment programs will ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity Robust history of significant program development and the expansion and improvement of clinical services Clear leadership experiences and strong interpersonal skills Exemplary ability to work well across disciplines and function effectively as the leader of a multidisciplinary team Minimum Qualifications: 1. NYS license 2. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience 5. Excellent organizational, communication, and team-building skills required 6. Leadership experience preferred 7. Candidates must have an MD or DO from an accredited medical or osteopathy school and have completed a child fellowship and board certification in child psychiatry. Assistant Professor requires board certification in psychiatry and 2-3 years post-residency clinical experience. Salary Range: $250,000 - $285,000 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
