Assistant Director, CNS Support Services - Acquisitions (Multiple Positions) (1515819), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.

Provide support on a variety of domestic and international projects with the goal to increase revenue and capabilities via acquisitions. Assist the team to source and purse acquisition opportunities, executing transactions including assisting with integration planning and post-closing performance review and reporting. Responsible for indirectly coaching, counseling, developing junior team members. Serve as project manager to organize, manage and assign work within the team. Support sourcing activities for both banker-led and proprietary opportunities. Support workstreams to facilitate due diligence, provide status and resolve discrepancies. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the EY transaction process and the parties involved/responsible for various aspects. Manage onboarding of client-serving subcontractors as needed. Manage and provide support to service line resources on post-close activities. Utilize advanced knowledge of EY’s typical integration process and maintain an ability to adapt as each transaction is unique. Act as workstream lead and project manager in handling the aspects of EY acquisitions that rest within the Service Line. Responsible to partners for organizing and managing work to meet critical deadlines. Develop internal presentations and other key sensitive documents for contemplated transactions for very senior stakeholder review. Deliver presentations to very senior stakeholders. Add value in the post-close performance review and reporting process by assisting the deal sponsor with managing issues that arise and determining solutions.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Human Resources, Economics, Management Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Human Resources, Economics, Management Information Systems or related field and 4 years of work experience.

Must have 4 years of combined experience in any of the following: strategy, change management, investment banking, private equity, technology consulting, business consulting or corporate development.

Must have 4 years of experience in client facing consulting experience in professional services.

Must have 4 years of experience in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Must have 2 years of qualitative analytical experience.

Must have 2 years of experience communicating with executive-level clients and stakeholders.

Must have 2 years of experience in project execution, including synergy assessment, project management, problem-solving, or facilitation.

Must have 2 years of experience in performance of gap assessments and determining risks and opportunity areas.

Requires travel up to 10%, of which 50% may be international.
