The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York Assistant /Associate Professor of Neurology at CUMC in New York, New York

The Epilepsy and Sleep Division at Columbia University Irving Medical is expanding services in Westchester County, New York and is seeking a full-time adult epileptologist at the assistant/associate professor level. Applicants must be board certified/eligible in neurology, have fellowship training in epilepsy/EEG, and be board certified or eligible in epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology. Applicants must be licensed in New York State before appointment begins. The position will include outpatient evaluation of epilepsy patients and interpretation of outpatient and inpatient EEG and video-EEG studies. Teaching of epilepsy/clinical neurophysiology fellows and neurology residents as well as development of independent research is also expected.

Qualification Requirement

All applicants MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered for the position.M.D., board certification in Neurology, and board eligibility/certification in epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology, is required. Faculty rank is expected to be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, commensurate with experience and achievement. Assistant Professor level candidates must provide evidence of training and have some teaching experience. Must be able to meet New York Presbyterian and ColumbiaDoctors credentialing.New York State Medical License.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have clinical expertise in Epilepsy.
