MBH Architects New York, P.C. is hiring an Architectural Job Captain, who will be responsible for leading the production of drawings and renderings across all architectural phases using CAD, Revit, Sketchup, and other design tools. The Architectural Job Captain ensures that all client deliverables adhere to client scope and schedule, industry standards, and local and federal regulations. This requires delegation of tasks to junior Architectural Drafter staff and providing corrections and comments as needed. Other duties include issuing documents for bids and permits, performing job site visits and preparing field reports, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and supporting Project Managers in developing proposals and budgets.Education / Experience Requirements: Master's degree in Architecture or related plus two (2) years of experience in the same/similar position or as a Designer; or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related plus four (4) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the same/similar position or as a Designer.Special Requirements: Two (2) years of experience with CAD, Revit, or Sketchup; implementing corrections, revisions, and red line changes; solving space planning and adjacency requirements; developing work plans/milestone schedules; and mentoring junior staff.Job Location: 50 Hudson St., New York, NY 10013Salary: $95,000/year.Interested applicants: Please send resumes to resumes@mbharch.com.
