The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York All Ranks: Assistant/Associate Professor of Radiology (Body Imaging_ Allen Hospi in New York, New York

The Department of Radiology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University invites applications for a clinical faculty position in the Allen Hospital Radiology Department. The ideal candidate should have fellowship training or comparable experience in body imaging (chest, abdomen, pelvis, and vascular imaging) and board certification or eligibility in diagnostic radiology. Candidates with Neuroradiology fellowship with adequate prior experience in general imaging including chest, body and MSK will also be considered. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate should have strong interpretative skill in all modalities including advanced applications. We work closely with other referrers therefore strong interpersonal skills and a proven aptitude in dealing with other clinical teams is of great importance. As a teaching hospital it is expected that a successful candidate would be actively involved in teaching not only residents and fellows within our department but also to other departments. Candidate must be able to obtain a NYS medical license; narcotics license is desirable.

The Department of Radiology Facilities have state-of-the-art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and radiography/fluoroscopy.

Compensation and benefits packages are highly competitive. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary ranges from $350,000 to $550,000. Benefits include college tuition reimbursement, tuition exemption for faculty members who wish to pursue graduate programs, and numerous retirement plans. There is ample time off for vacation and CME.


Position requires M.D. or D.O. degree. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York; narcotics license desirable.
