Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in New York. This role is situated within the industry and requires a person who is adept at handling tasks such as processing invoices, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records consistently

• Handle invoice processing tasks effectively, ensuring all invoices are correctly coded

• Engage in weekly account payable check runs to maintain financial accuracy

• Utilize skills in Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage customer accounts and transactions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and record-keeping tasks

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary

• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks, contributing to team success. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with check runs and coding invoices

• Strong data entry skills

• Familiarity with invoice processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks

• Familiarity with SAP software

• Ability to handle weekly account payable

• Knowledge of how to code invoices
