We are in search of an Accounting Manager for our team based in New York. This role is centered in the Music/Entertainment industry and will require being in the office 5 days a week. The primary function of this role is to manage and oversee financial processes and reports, and coordinate with various departments and external entities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational and financial reports as requested

• Work closely with the CFO and external auditors for the finalization of books of accounts and tax preparation

• Collaborate with finance/royalty departments of foreign subsidiaries for document exchange related to revenues/direct costs

• Supervise the bookkeeper to ensure accurate posting of accounts receivable, payable, and intercompany transactions

• Recognize income from royalties, logo fees, and other miscellaneous sources for group entities

• Manage daily banking transactions and ensure funds availability for payable and conversion of foreign currency receipts

• Maintain employee records for existing and new hires, run biweekly payrolls, and prepare/post the journals

• Coordinate with employees regarding health insurance and FSA

• Pay quarterly estimated taxes of group entities and oversee the compilation and filing of information returns

• Utilize skills in Month End Close, Royalties, Payroll, Intercompany Accounting, and Sage Software.

Requirements

• Accounting/Finance degree

• 10+ years Accounting experience
